Víctor Pradera de Pamplona was founded in the year 1952. Dependent on the Navarre Government, this year it has become the first school in the province to implant the Learning Programme in German (PAAL) and is now called Paderborn-Víctor Pradera. The school is unique in the sense that its core language is German and contents are taught in both German and Spanish. From four years old English is also included.
The objective of the school is for the pupils to be fluent in all three languages at the end of the primary stage. To this end, from 3 years old subjects are taught in Spanish and German. From 4 and 5 years, English is also introduced into core subjects. The school has one native German teacher.
The school, which this year has 245 pupils and 28 teachers, has been recognized with a quality certificate from the Department of Education and tries to instill in its pupils the need for effort and work as a means to achieve ends. The school has digital whiteboards in its classrooms, a dining room, computer room, library and gymnasium and promotes teamwork, solidarity, respect and critical thinking.
